NAME A MAGAZINE THAT YOU'LL NEVER EVER BUY, BUT THAT YOU'LL ALWAYS READ IF YOU FIND ONE LYING AROUND.

Dan Geller: Jane.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHAKESPEARE PLAY? IF IT'S ROMEO AND JULIET BE HONEST -- IS THAT THE ONLY ONE YOU COULD THINK OF OFF THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD?

DG: Shakeswho?

FILL IN THE BLANK: IF I WASN'T A MUSICIAN, I'D BE A _________________.

DG: Musician, me? Anyway, I would be scientist, since I have a Masters in Biological Engineering.

WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER BE ABLE TO DO: BREATHE UNDERWATER INDEFINITELY, OR FLY? WHY?

DG: Fly, water sucks.

HAVE YOU EVER SHOPLIFTED? WHAT DID YOU TAKE, AND WHY?

DG: No, but I was with someone who stole a GI Joe from KMART once.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE RECORD STORE?

DG: Wuxtry, Athens, GA.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR "COMFORT" WHILE YOU'RE TOURING?

DG: I hug (Kindercore/Kincaid cohort) Ryan.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BOARD GAME?

DG: Clue!

HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM A TELEMARKETER?

DG: A cheese grater.

DO YOU LIKE TO SHOP ONLINE? WHAT DO YOU BUY?

DG: Yes, computer nerd gear.

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM CAR, OR DREAM MODE OF TRANSPORT.

DG: I like that flying idea.

WHEN YOU'RE TOURING/TRAVELING, WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO -- RADIO OR CDs/TAPES? IF THE RADIO, WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR?

DG: Radio -- we always have one song we are obsessed with. Once it was TLC, once it was Puffy and once it was Sugar Ray. I guess it is to enhance the discomfort of touring.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST ALBUM YOU EVER BOUGHT -- AND DO YOU STILL LISTEN TO IT?

DG: I think it was the first Whodini album, but I haven't seen it in a while, I was thinking about trying to find it on vinyl.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?

DG: Atari.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? IF NOTHING, WHAT WAS THE LAST GOOD BOOK YOU READ?

DG: Shakeswho?

ARE YOU MORE LIKE R2D2 OR C-3PO?

DG: C3PO, unfortunately.

In addition to being 50% of the Kindercore Records brain trust, Dan Geller is a member of Kincaid, whose album, Kincaid Plays Super Hawaii, was one of our favorites of 1999. So he's not just the Kindercore president (or whatever) -- he's also a client.
