What's the worst "day job" you've ever had?

Tina Lockwood: I am currently working in my first "day job"...and, uh, well...I wouldn't want my boss to ever run across this, so...this job rocks! How 'bout we talk about my worst job ever: When I was 16 I worked at a skating rink and wanted so badly to be the referee/DJ girl who got to skate around in the striped shirt and blow the little whistle. Instead, they put all the girls behind the snack bar to make Frito Pies and the boys got to be the referees. BUNK! I lasted two weeks.

How much time do you spend on the internet each week? What do you do when you're on?

Tina Lockwood: A couple hours... Music, news, zines, cheesy girl stuff, whatever. Oh yeah, and I booked a lot of our tour with the aid of the Internet.

Most people, whether they're willing to admit it or not, have a uniform -- clothing they'll default to when left to their own devices. What's your uniform?

Tina Lockwood: Black or dark colors...red too. Hip huggers. Scarves.

PC or Mac (or Linux/etc.)? Why?

Tina Lockwood: PC. I've used it more. I would actually like to work more on Macs.

What book (or books) that you read as a child has most influenced your life as an adult?

Tina Lockwood: James and the Giant Peach. Nancy Drew. Sweet Valley High.

Given the choice, would you rather stake your life on your ability to quickly solve a complex mathematical equation, or attempt to fight/escape from a large grizzly bear? Why?

Tina Lockwood: Math equation. I love math...it was one of my many majors in college before I eventually settled on something wholly unpractical like a liberal arts degree.

What's your favorite video/computer game? Don't have one? How about board games?

Tina Lockwood: I hate computer/video games. I don't get them. I like Scrabble, Taboo, Boggle and Trivial Pursuit.

What's your position on gun control?

Tina Lockwood: I am scared of guns -- or rather, scared of people with guns. The only time I ever shot a gun was on my dad's ranch. We were shooting at targets. When I actually hit the target, I got so excited that I lost sight of what a dangerous weapon I was carrying and swung around in excitement...only to realize seconds later that it was now pointed at my family. It scared me, and I never want to touch one again. I'm not sure how this view spills over into legalities and rights, but I would feel safer if guns did not exist.

What album or albums in your music collection would you have to replace immediately if they wore out, were stolen, etc.?

Tina Lockwood: Elliot Smith or Cat Power.

You are able to get away with murder once, and only once. Who, if anyone, do you kill?

Tina Lockwood: I would never kill someone regardless of getting away with it or not. It scares me that "getting away with it" would be the only thing holding someone back from doing such a thing.

You're stuck at my house. It's your turn to cook. What meal do you cook me?

Tina Lockwood: Homemade anything Italian. I love cooking pasta sauce from scratch. Surely it would include spinach and plenty of cheese.

What was the last pet name used by you to refer to your someone special? What was the last pet name your someone special used to refer to you?

Tina Lockwood: Me=princess; him=dork.

What was the "most wanted" item on your holiday wish list?

Tina Lockwood: Drums...and a ticket to NYC.

Austinites The Search for Saturnalia released their first full-length album, Four Letters, a few months ago. They haven't looked back since.
