[splendid reviews]

The Prima Donnas  You're probably already quite familiar with the Prima Donnas' nightmarish adolescence in a Sussex, U.K. orphanage. You should also be aware of their forced relocation to Austin, TX, where their brand of Eurotrash, 80’s synthesizer-driven punk has been infecting the minds of our youth. However, your excessive American TV watching habits have probably kept you from acquiring this embattled 7", which expresses the agony and anguish of the Prima Donnas' early youth. "Break Your Fucking Head" manifests these suppressed emotions of Prima Donna infancy into a metaphorical yarn of an impregnating maniac. As the dual synthesizers, coupled with infectious drum machine beats, ravage the vinylscape, Otto Matik's Stoogeish vocals flare up like a hearty case of hemorrhoids. "She Had Alien Written All Over Her" might be an extraterrestrial tale of interspecies love, but more than likely is just another tale of careless groupie sex on the part of keyboardist Julius Seizure. Any "stupid American moron" that can only cock his or her head in confusion at these cockneyed Brits must only be another example of this ignorant and pitiful American culture. However, whether it's mockery, tomfoolery or deadpan reality, you can't deny the originality of a keyboard-only punk band. Prima! Donnas!
