Mathematics aside, Anna to the Infinite Power may sound like one of those paradoxical equations
that your 10th grade teacher gave you for homework. It may have an obvious, logical solution for
some, or may just drift about in a nebulous, numerical heaven as you quietly carve your name into the front of your Trapper Keeper. For those of you who are less astute and suffered through Pre-Algebra like yours truly, here's all you need to know: Anna (taken) to the Infinite Power = clever pop music that emphasizes vocal melodies. Not so much an equation, actually, but rather a succession of theorems, including the impeccable "When the World Ends," which proves ATTIP's rhetorical musings on the future or "Someone to Blame," which corroborates that indie rock still has a life after all. The music is a tad forgettable on a few tracks, but generally speaking, Anna is way more entertaining than cheating out of the back of your Geometry book. Hey, who ever said crummy ol' Math was all so bad after all?
