Someone!! Quick!!! Call an ambulance! Seems that Prince Paul has mainlined a little of that junk that helped Dr. Octagon slam down his last LP. That's right folks, Prince Paul of De La Soul fame dishes out 18 neuropathic skit-style tracks as he oscillates between doctor-psychologist-sexual purveyor roles. Curiously, old school breakbeats are prominently flaunted throughout the CD instead of new thundering drums and bass. Therapy begins quickly as "Introduction to
Psychoanalysis (Schizophrenia)" spits out mindless verbal sputterings.
Borrowing the drum track from Public Enemy's "Miuzi Weighs a Ton", Prince Paul continues the absurd, culminating in the sexual fist pumpin' anthem "Booty Clap", as choruses of men and women trade off desirous cat calls. "Dimepieces" brings us more churlish sexual rantings from the male perspective. A hysterical Prince Paul finally gets the medical treatment and attention that he so direly needs, as needle is inserted, and CAT scan is taken on "Psycho Linguistics (Convergent Thought)." After thorough discussion with the medical board, we've abandoned any hope of correcting this patient's condition, and recommend that the general public acquire this genuine musical prize from a said "Raging Madman" promptly.
